Getting to Know: Lisa Johnson

A California native, Lisa Johnson has dedicated her career to enhancing the lives of seniors. Her passion for senior care began years ago and deepened as she navigated the experience of providing long-distance care for her mother, who resides in a senior community in California.

Lisa holds a bachelor’s degree in Nutritional Science and a Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration Management from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. Her impressive background spans healthcare roles as a hospital specialist, positions in the pharmaceutical and hospice industries, and her current role as Vice President of Ruby Care Senior Living Advisors.

As a Certified Dementia Practitioner, Lisa possesses specialized expertise to support individuals and families navigating the challenges of dementia care. She is deeply committed to giving back to her community, volunteering with the Alzheimer's Grandscape Walk and serving on the board of the North Texas Area Gerontological Society.

Lisa’s approach is grounded in knowledge, compassion, and firsthand experience, ensuring she provides tailored guidance as a senior living advisor.

In her personal time, Lisa enjoys reading, traveling, visiting family in California, and spending quality time with her husband.
